I have a 66 HP tractor that I can use to move dirt, but it's not ideal for digging. I don't even know where to shop to buy a backhoe attachment for a TN70 but I have a feeling it'll cost more than $3K. Plus I like the idea of having a separate tool in case I ever part ways with the tractor (it's honestly too big for my long term needs).

Jun 25, 2019 · Okay, the thumb (18" Lineville from ebay) came in yesterday and I put it on and tested it today. I used three 5/8" X 5" grade 8 bolts to fasten it on the backhoe. 4-1/2" bolts would have been perfect, but Lowe's didn't have any. Other people ran their bolts from the top of the boom to the inside of the thumb.
